Bristol Civic Society Award
The Bristol Civic Society was founded in 1906, has over 550 members and cherishes the beauty, history, character and future of the city.
Once a year the Society presents awards to projects that have contributed a positive improvement to the local community. Nominees are invited via their newsletter, and each submission duly considered. This year the South Bristol Sports Centre was one of eight recipients of the award, with Kitto Construction being the Main Contractor. The prize includes a plaque, which should be prominently displayed on the premises.
