West View Surgery, Keynsham, Bristol

West View Surgery was located in a converted semi-detached Victorian house and wanted to expand so required relocation within a ¼ mile radius.

Kitto Developments identified and secured a suitable site. Working with the doctors consultants, Kitto and our architects prepared designs and specifications prior to obtained planning permission for the new surgery.

The Practice purchased the site from Kitto Developments and entered into a design and build contract with Kitto Construction for the new Facility.

The new surgery is part two storey with eight consulting rooms, two treatment rooms, waiting areas, reception, offices, toilets and disabled facilities on the ground floor. Room was also provided for use by complementary therapists. The new minor surgical suite enables Doctors to perform simple operations.

An 8 person hydraulic lift and stairs provides access to the staff room, training suite and extensive offices on the first floor. The large conference / training suite enables the Practice to host regular medical training sessions in conjunction with leading regional and national organisations.

All services were provided including data, telecom, CCTV security and alarm systems. External works included parking for 40 vehicles in two separate parking areas (one exclusively for staff), both within an extensive secure landscaped setting.

Building works & fitting out, were completed on budget five weeks ahead of programme.
